I love the new relative dates option in the Slicer visualization. However, we need this functionality in the Filters section of any given level: Visual, Page, Report. I want a user to come to a report that is already filtered on "Yesterday" or "Last Week" with no slicer visualization taking up precious space on the screen.

- This Feature is part of the May 2017 PowerBI dektop update. Lucky Scott :-)
- '@Ralph, this feature is currently only in Slicer form - not Filter form. Scott is requesting that this feature be made available from the filter pane as well, so we don't have to use slicers on the page. According to the Power BI Team's May 2017 update: "We’re planning to incorporate this relative date approach into the Filter pane in a future update as well."
- Would it be possible to add a quarter option for the relative date filter? I would like to be able to set the filter to show data just for the quarter that is current and not show data from multiple quarters.
- It would be great if there was an option to filter QUARTERLY. Currently I can see Days, Weeks, Months and Years. Quarters would be a metric to have too.
- Week running from Monday through Sunday instead of Sunday through Saturday would be even better.
- Hi i have a list of employees with stopped date - i need to show all people with stopped date within 2 month or with empty stopped date - how can i combine a relative date search with a or = 0 the datasource is a SQL Analytics

- Hi. Like others have mentioned, I too like the relative dates option but would have loved it if there was an option for Quarter as well because we need to analyse a lot of quarterly data. Thanks
- Is there a way that the dates can use local time? the use of UTC means the days can be a day out at critical times like month end.
