Enable Project Online as a source (beyond the rather slow oData feed that exists) to enable large organizations to report directly from PO. Currently using oData with slow performance and rigid paging of data returned that makes large datasets perform suboptimal.

- Thanks for the suggestion, Trond! If anyone else thinks that Project Online is an important data source, please add your vote!
- Even with OData, it doesn't allow you to refresh (manually or scheduled). To get new data to show up now, I need to open the .pbix file I have stored locally in Power BI Designer, then refresh, and upload the file. Then I need to delete the old one since it doesn't overwrite it and I need to pin any report elements I want back to a dashboard (basically recreating it from scratch).
- This is a really important feature. The OData feed can be acceptable in certain cases, where you hav to access to general information of the project. But sometimes you have to access to timephased data: in that cas the number of row is very important, and the time is really too long: more than 10 minutes, and often you get a timeout error. With a direct link, the performance would be much better !
- Totally agree, a connection with Project Online is very important. Project management consists also to manage Cost, KPI, etc...
- '+1 on this feature request, and I echo the same sentiments that @SylvainGrossNeo said regarding the time it takes to pull in timephased information via OData.
- Would love to see this one added.
- General Manager and Program managers need Project OnLine as datasource in Power Bi portal, as a vital tool to supervise the P&L concerning contracts and proojects sold to customers. This is a top priority for my present customers.
- This would make my day! As a consultant for Project Online this is a key issue for selling the product. Slow performance on OData.

We'd love to see this one added, and given that is data in Microsoft's own datacenters it should be easy and fast :)- if you have a connector to crm online why not have porject online, it's very neccesary for BI in Project online. Excel isnt a good solution for BI Reporting
