This is much needed, there are millions of LAMP servers across the Internet and Intranet that need this! My organisation is totally cloud based and needs to connect and analyse data from a Linux MySQL hosted web server with the PowerBI service. I guess it is possible to run the gateway, as a service, on my laptop utilising the PowerBI desktop to server connection but this is less than ideal. Connection from PowerBI service to a Linux host running a Linux gateway is sorely needed.
