Our organization has a worldwide presence and we have to adhere to local country data privacy rules. To successfully deploy Power BI Embedded or Power BI Premium capacities we need to be able to choose specific location region where the capacity is created. Right now the PBIE capacity location region is indirectly related to Azure AD tenant region and directly related to Power BI tenant region. This forces us to create additional Azure AD/Power BI tenants just to have PBIE in a different region. Please disconnect PBIE capacity location from PBI tenant location and offer a wide location region selection. Please also describe better the PBI tenant region selection rules as it is opaque without ability to predict the exact location. Regards

- Having had this issue myself (Azure AD tenant was located in Asia and initial Power BI tenant also located in Asia, however rest of Azure infrastructure needed to be located in Australia) you can request this be changed by Microsoft, however it is bit of a manual support process that you have to go through.
- Same thing here, azure PAS subscription is on virginia, but our PBI tenant was automatically created on texas, need to move it all to a single one for regulation restrictions
- This is an issue for more than Power BI Embedded. We have a client that needs the region to be West US, however, the data is wed to East US. This needs to be far more flexible.
