It's hard to convince colleagues to use Power BI in case they using linux. With a Linux version (ubuntu?) of the Power BI Desktop they would not need to install a VM or similar.

I think not only Power BI Desktop, even Power BI Server must also be ported to Linux. If MS SQL Server is now running on Linux, it is only natural to ask why not Power BI Server?
