I used to think companies were data driven, I learned that is a lie. A lot of times senior leaders want to override numbers, they dont want to correct them and are too busy to get in the weeds. They simply say I want it to show this number and the reasoning is "because I said so". This request is to implement an override feature where you can just input any number you want, along with documentation to say hey big boss wanted this number and here is the proof to cover my own behind.

- This would have to be very carefully managed and implemented. It could open up a right hornet's nest.
- Why bother? Just create a measure called "ideal numbers by big boss" and that equals 7 You can even create a sliding number for that measure, and that would be shown in a report visible only to the big boss
