Power BI Feature Request: Narrative Visual Security & Access Control

We are testing the Power BI Narrative/Copilot visual and found several limitations around security and user access.

Current challenges:

• No native way to show/hide Narrative visuals based on user identity.
• USERPRINCIPALNAME() and DAX-based visibility work inconsistently.
• Narrative visuals may still render when measures return BLANK().
• Buttons and navigators cannot dynamically redirect users based on permissions.
• Page access cannot be restricted to specific users or groups.
• Securing AI-generated insights requires complex workarounds and duplicate reports.

Requested enhancements:

1. Support conditional visual visibility using DAX measures.
2. Allow show/hide functionality based on Entra ID users or security groups.
3. Introduce page-level security within Power BI reports.
4. Allow dynamic page navigation based on user permissions.
5. Add dedicated security settings for Narrative and Copilot visuals.
6. Provide native "Access Denied" or redirect behavior for unauthorized users.

Business impact: Organizations need a secure way to expose AI-generated narratives only to authorized audiences such as executives, sales leaders, or specific business units. Native security controls would improve governance, simplify report maintenance, and accelerate enterprise adoption of Copilot-powered reporting.

Example: Allow an Executive Insights page with Narrative visuals to be visible only to approved users while standard dashboard pages remain available to everyone else.
