Multiwindow Editing in Power BI

Hi all,

Our reporting requirements tend to need complex queries: Multi-query setups and als custom functions.

Rather working on the source code itself and less "visual coding".

I would need to have access to the source code of multiple queries at the same time for debugging, refactoring and seeing how the queries interact with each other.

My current workflow is copy pasting into e.g. Notepad++ and switching tabs there. Very inefficient.

My idea: Multiwindow editing or providing access to pbi files from an external editor (VS Code or whatever) seeing tree strucutres of the project... and whatever else a modern editor provides to make life easier on developers.
