More variable dead slow

When there is more variable (150 Variables) or calculations are included its getting dead slow, its a i7 processor and 8 gb ram with SSD storage. Still its slow, for every click i may need to wait for 2 minutes, where are loosing patience... please do something or suggest me any alternative way / purchase is required
