I have heard that a setting to toggle this behavior off is being developed. There's a note in the documentation now.

Continued ContributorThanks for the update TravisZiegler, this is good news, as it is still a problem when working within different environments, as I am now saving and closing each artifact before moving on which is hindering effective workflows.
