Making Fabric UI more data engineer friendly - After new updates to functionality
In the new Fabric UI view, every different web browser, and Web browsers tabs, now persists all your open artifacts and the workspace associated with this in the left hand menu.
This maybe a good feature for report viewers.
However, as a data engineer, working in Fabric, I have multiple browser windows open for Pipelines and Monitoring runs, as well as Azure.
I have different web browsers for different sources of data, then with each separate tab for a layer of the stack
Browser 1 = Source
Tab 1 = Ingestion workspace
Tab 2 = Transform layer
Tab 3 = Semantic Models
Tab 4 > Report workspace for end user business units
Now in each tab, all workspaces are in the left hand UI and there is no separation, not to mention more clicks.
Is there a way to turn this off, if this is going to be a new feature in the UI, as it is making my workload less intuitive, as well as harder to see the separation of the work I am doing in the ingestion, transform, and semantic model layers of the end to end process

I have heard that a setting to toggle this behavior off is being developed. There's a note in the documentation now.

Thanks for the update TravisZiegler, this is good news, as it is still a problem when working within different environments, as I am now saving and closing each artifact before moving on which is hindering effective workflows.
