The SAP BW Connector currently does not support Live or Direct Query. Some customers are looking for this feature.

Advocate IIif I select only very few measures and dimensions for test purpose, the results are excellent in power BI desktop. As SAP collects excellent data about attributes, the data lends itself for lot of analysis scope to throw outliers and trends. But SAP is not for small data or for small hearts! Also the preview version is not detecting measures and dimensions. We need to tell it explicitly after import. However, during import selection, it is displaying measures and dimensions with symbols for selection as SAP BW fields.
