In this state and age, csv data with double-byte is not uncommon. However, I just don't understand why is it so difficult for Excel to read the data properly. I can even use my vi editor (on windows) to open the files and see all double-byte characters displayed properly (Chinese, Japanese, even Russian). vi.exe on cygwin, windows 10. Please fix the double byte issue on the PowerBI/Excel character processing engine.
