Improve Reporting Services (or converge it with Power BI). SSRS hasn't been improved very much in the last versions. For many uses cases SSRS still offers features such as export to several formats (PDF, Word, Excel...) which are not covered by Power BI.

- mourad1New MemberHi, I have some ideas: Can we have the export in PowerPoint. Or enable to have a link from PowerPoint to a report part ? Could we integrate a Power View in a SSRS report as a report part ?

Hi Will: Definitely, parameter control is strongly needed: From type, to size, to fonts and colors, location (that ugly bar is really old), etc, etc. Also, real mobile device dynamic visualization... Or in other words : Convergence with Power BI... (evil grin) - paul_goldyNew MemberBetter integration between the tabular data source and SSRS for issuing and managing DAX queries. Not much use of hte tabular models are done with SSRS because the technilogies don;t integrate well. This is the same hurdle which was overcome in the early days of SSRS and integrating with SSAS before the tabular model was introduced.
- jashwood1New MemberThere are plenty of issues on Connect that have not been fixed in SSRS. Please fix the important ones.
- becky_carusoNew MemberI apologize if this is a total newbie question since I haven't worked with SSRS since SQL Server 2005. But, after viewing all the Power Query and Power BI goodness, is it possible (or could it be possible) to create a Power Excel output from within SSRS? One of my company's departments spends hundreds of hours a year trying to produce barely interactive data-driven workbooks through Excel VBA macros so being able to create the Power Query layout in SSRS and schedule the workbook's generation would do away with all that macro work that's mostly concerned with the presentation layer!
- fbcideas_migusrNew MemberHow about generating SSRS-type reports from Power BI? In some cases what you really need is a report that someone can print (I know, I know, but we still live in a world where people like and want paper).

Flexible parameter control, PowerPoint export, Excel graph support (not just images), heatmaps, treemaps built in. Decision trees - jeremy_w_j_hougNew MemberAllow the plug in of R graphics and visualisations. Try to take the following project (https://rgraphicsdevice.codeplex.com/documentation) and offer it out of the box. Allow other programming models such as R or F# (not just SQL) for report data extraction and manipulation.

Azure SQL reporting is deprecated at 2014/10/31, There is no subtitude for it, I think Azure SQL Reporting should integrated with Power BI. And in Power BI Dashboard, I want the feature like PerformancePoint, we can embedded SSRS report in dashboard and pass parameter, then interaction with other item in dashboard... - ramon_bertrandNew MemberWord-breaking for long strings. word-break: break-all; is missing causing text wrapping to fail on long strings.
