Hide/Show Column on Table

This makes sense. Ideally we can utilize columns for data grouping and sorting but not actually have to display them on the report.

We are able to hide the column in a table, but when we export the data its showing with hidden column as well. Can you please help me with this. Thanks in advance.

Additional functionality here, if you hide a column in the report, it should not be visible if the data is exported to a CSV or Excel sheet.

Hiding columns on conditions is a must...

I am able to reduce the width of the column to a negligible size (but still noticeable with an exacting hover), but am unable to truly hide the column - is there a way to do this? Additionally I agree that, upon export, the hidden column should not be returned in the result set. Our clients have no interest in seeing our key values!

This seems like something that would be extremely useful....as would easily being able to reorder rows instead of using some complicated workaround.

We use id columns in Direct Query mode to drill through to another page. These id columns have to added value to the user so we want to hide them.
