We need this feature to be added because is easier to manage permissions and we don't need to create lots of workspaces
This give the ability to share dataflows, semantic models and reports by folder.

So many features that should have been added before even roling out the 1sr version of this a few years ago. This is one of them......

It is the basic feature required for the better access management across multiple folders

- This would be helpful; it is part of the reason we created folders to organize our content.
- SSRS can do it but Power BI can't. It will be god feature for separation of perms.
- This would make folders so much more useful. It would be great if we could give view and contributor access in particular to specific folders only
- Having permission at the Folder level would save so much time and energy.

This would be really useful to have permissions on a folder, so we users can access the workspace, but we could lock down certain items in folders., so they do not have permissions to them. It helps without having to create lots of workspaces which we have and this is now creating a lot of maintenance.
