From debug run: open child pipeline in same window

When I run a pipeline directly (with the "play" button), it runs without a trigger. When it starts a child pipeline through an invoke pipeline activity, at some point I can click the output arrow for that activity, and there is a link to the child run.

Currently, this always opens a new window, with an enormous clutter of items in the left hand toolbar (not clear how it chooses those).

Strangely, when, in this new window, there is again a child pipeline run, and I click the output arrow again, it DOES open in this same window, properly displaying breadcrumbs at the top (so it is possible :-) ).
