When working with SSAS tabular datasource, it is not possible to set the formatting of numbers in the matrix or matrix preview visualization. I guess the default is to display the formatting defined in the underlying cube, but sometimes you need to override that.

- fbcideas_migusrNew MemberThis is a huge issue for us. We have split our PBIX files in two - one is the "Dataset" file where the dev works on modeling, measures, etc. The other is the "Report" file that is connected to the published dataset. This person does all of the visuals, bookmarks, etc. But the one thing they cannot do is a simple number format. The dataset dev has to change number formats on measures, then republish. Big hassle.
