I want to be able to use the filter to toggle between columns. I have a table that is reporting on the compliance on 40+ metrics each week. I want to be able to have visuals for the individual metrics that can be selected in the filter instead of being limited to only being able to filter by row(the date)

I think what you are asking for is now possible with field parameters.
