When users add additional rows in a Matrix visual, the new rows appear collapsed by default. Add an option for report developers to Expand All or Collapse All levels by default in a Matrix Visual.
This can be achieved through report bookmarks if the number of Rows in a Matrix visual remain static but this doesn't work for reports where users can add, remove, or reorder Rows in a a Matrix.

This is extremely helpful with the introduction of "Fields Parameter". When selecting the fields via slicers, the Matrix automatically collapses to the top hierarchy, which is so inconvenient.
The matrix should have the option to always automatically expand all the way to the lowest hierarchy.
