Encountering Issues using Fabric REST APIs using Service Principal Authentication

When I was trying to use Fabric REST APIs using Service Principal Authentication method, I was not able to use some of the APIs that are in preview whereas some were working. When I used REST API to trigger pipeline run on demand (in preview) I was getting error as 'PrincipalTypeNotSupported'

but some APIs like GetItem were working.
