I connected to a SQL database using direct query mode, I would like to be able to pull in data from another source (i.e. excel) to obtain additional data not stored in SQL. Is there a way around this?

- Some slow change lookup data such as retail SKU need to be stored in Excel
- This would be one of the most requested feature from POWER BI to have the self service capability .
