I've been deploying (or trying to) in 2 companies since 2015 and the main drawback was not able to do direct query with mysql. MySQL is everywhere and there's no way my former and current companies are going to move out of that model. Replicating necessary data to a MS server is just too much and not desired.
Still awaiting direct query for MySQL, like 5 years later...
