With the current slicer with a slide bar or a between setting is great except that the current start date can not be set to "today" and the range 2 weeks our as a default on a daily refreshed dashboa...
The current behavior creates a poor user experience. The end date in the date range slicer can default to the maximum date, but the slicer does not always pin (there is a bug that sometimes prevents this behavior). Setting the slider to visible seems to resolve the issue. The start date cannot be pinned relative to the end date, which is very unintuitive to anyone who uses reports. The client's typical user would like to be able to default to current month's transactions, but I could foresee other relative date ranges.
