Data gateway support?

Will there ever be support for this in the future?

If this is not supported is there a viable alternative for creating apps that connect to on-prem data

We also need a data gateway support for the Power BI APP. In our case we have multiple customers, which have the same data structure in their databases (they are using a ERP software, which is supported by us) and therefore we could easily set up a Power BI APP, which shows significantly relevant data, that is not shown by the software itself. The problem is , that now we have to use standard Power BI templates instead of an app, which makes the deployment of the dashboards pretty unsatisfying for us. Currently we have to put the regular power bi - file on the customers on prem system and set up the connection to their database manually for every customer, when theres a newer version of our file, since the pbix-file is at the moment the only resource, which can handle data gateways. If the POWER BI APP would support data gateways, our customers could just update the app without a big manual effort on our side.
