Interacting on the Dashboard itself. Currently the dashboard drills through to the report. I would like to interact with the dashboard.

I think this is quite a strategic decision. i don't see an added value in interaction with the dashboard. But at least it should be updated, but not only kept as a "static screenshot". But navigation on the dashboard does not make sense to me, it would make no difference to the report then. - xxcorpxx

I agree because now I am building reports into Dashboards and that kind of defeats the purpose of the dashboard itself. - tushar_vaja1New MemberThis is needed, why do someone needs to go to report to see drilldown, they can see all in one readonly dashboard. Report should be internal to Designer.
- mikejarodNew MemberPlease add. Got no more votes left :( I agree fully with Christopher Woodward below : I agree because now I am building reports into Dashboards and that kind of defeats the purpose of the dashboard itself.
- kumar_kaneswaraNew MemberInteraction with the Dashboard makes complete sense if you would like to filter through different individuals results and view interactions. This means that you have to create a bespoke dashboard for each individual.
- dicong_wuNew MemberPlease do it Power BI! You would make the world much better with this feature :)
- payne_jnNew MemberThis is so critical. We have a master data model, that model supports multiple reports (connected to the master data model in LIVE mode). We want to pin visuals and pages from different reports (that share the same Master model) to the same dashboard (all reside in the same workspace), and have them be INTERACTIVE. Why isn't this possible? they share the EXACT same Data Model. This ability, to have the Dashboard work as the highest level presentation layer, with its more flexible canvass (wider, longer) , along with the ability to interact there would be a game changer. Being able to interact within pinned pages is great, the next step, along the idea of utilizing the CDM/CDS and app/service integration, would be to let ANY object (PBI report, Flow, Power App, etc) using the same data model interact in a common workspace. Integration and Conformity on a Common Data Model would drive so much capability and value. We want to be able to cross-filter and pass context across reports, and the Dashboard seems like a logical place to start testing that type of integration. Thanks for all the hard work!
- RylanFrequent VisitorPlease allow us to interact on the Dashboard! I cannot tell you how many times a user of a dashboard I have made has come to me complaining that my report is broken. Every time, it has been this unintuitive quirk, where the user has to go to the report itself, rather than the dashboard, for this interactivity to work. This makes so little sense.
