Custom Sorting Parameters

Working with a table looking at different drilling wells broken down by section. I need to be able to sort the bar graph representation of the wells by date drilled to match the data table below, but I can only sort by numerical values or other form of quantitative values. I would recommend adding a custom sort feature where a parameter can be selected or dragged-and-dropped to filter the graphing order. This feature would be similar to adding values to visual. It could even be added to the "Field" portion of Power BI under "Tooltips" to allow for custom sorting of data.
