Having several reports use the same semantic model is a great way to split up content into relevant chunks, while keeping the number of semantic models low to minimise time spent creating, maintaining and refreshing them.
It's sometimes the case that some restructuring in a semantic model is required - sometimes measures or columns need to be renamed. When working in Power BI Desktop, this type of change to the semantic model automatically propagates to all visuals or measures that use the relevant item. The feature is often referred to as Formula Fix-up.
It would be really useful if the formula fix-up extended to reports in the same Power BI Project directory that use the semantic model that is being edited.
So, for example, if you had 2 reports and 1 semantic model in a PBIP directory, and you edit the name of a measure in Report A using PBI Desktop, all visuals in Report B that use that measure would also update to use the new name.
This would be a really slick and useful feature and greatly improve the experience of editing semantic models that have more than one report dependent on them.
