I was at the Data Insights Summit in Bellevue Washington and have never been more excited about the future for data insights being powered by Microsoft. I would really like to have a dashboard for Microsoft product features. This would include a table with every single product feature. Each feature would be indexed with what it makes possible and what it solves. The matrix would have hierarchical color values for the most popular use. All of this would be used to build a matrix with visualizations. The matrix could have live links to all help and educational sources for the particular feature. With the addition of machine learning based on the user profiles and activity, there could be an element of 'support optimization' through predictive needs. Less cookie cutter and more of a tutor type support network. This would really accelerate learning and enterprise adoption by helping everyone to visually connect the dots between products and features making it far more powerful than the sum of the parts. It would be especially helpful if there was a visualization which showed the user community by job type. It would help to fuel adoption by facilitating peer to peer competition within entire industries, eroding the belief that Power BI is limited to the IT community. I would be willing to further define and develop this with help from the community.
