Create a nested IF or SWITCH wizard

With Custom Column or Conditional column, we don't have a 'between' function to categorize ranges of data. Creating a nested IF or SWITCH statement with large datasets is not working well and is producing many errors (especially if we have quite a few categorizations). Can the team develop a customized nested IF or SWITCH wizard to avoid all these errors and time-consuming preparation work? Thank you
