It would be nice to have more conditional formatting tools/options. The actual option, coloring the whole cell, reduces the quality of visual. In a Matrix or Table, when multiple columns have conditional formatting, it is really dificult to analyse the data with all that colors. But, leaving the cell without formatting and applying the condition with images, just as circles, would be much better for reading. It would be better to have more options as in Excel: Icons, colors, images, etc.

- VidaLiFrequent VisitorI'd like to have the same request. currently, we can not conditional format symbol in a matrix....
- hhbuNew MemberI agree - it should be possible to use conditional formatting in a table/matrix using icon sets (like in Excel). Today you can do this by using Image URL's but the problem is, that using an image URL in a table cannot be reduced in size. The image URLs have a standard size - which is OK when you want to show products in a list but not just to show a symbol (traffic light red, yellow and green icon - that is small in size). The easiest way is to make these things in the conditional formatting setting, but it should be possble to import other symbols for the sake of flexibility.
- amtraverNew MemberYes this would be very helpful ... being able to assign an icon conditionally rather than just changing the text or background color would make building "scorecards" and other such matrices much more clean and straightforward.
- pbiideas1New MemberDitto here: "This would be great. I know there is a work around by creating custom columns, but most of our work is done against a multi-dimensional cube which means we can not create columns against it."
- danielle_menueyNew MemberThis would be great. I know there is a work around by creating custom columns, but most of our work is done against a multi-dimensional cube which means we can not create columns against it. We have a lot of scorecards and it would be great to be able to build them in PowerBI instead of maintaining seperate tools.
