Recommend modifying the restriction when combining on-premises data sources with cloud data sources it must be defined via the gateway. The gateway is for restricted on-premises data sources and does not make sense to open for traffic to cloud data sources. The fact that cloud and non cloud data sources can be combined via Power Query and the visualised using Power BI desktop only to find that after publishing to a Fabric workspace. Requires data source credential mapping via the gateway is not ideal.
