Color reference table or color column mapping for charts

Right now, you can only choose a set number of colors based upon each of the values in your data. However, if that data is refreshed with new values, you have no control over those. So if I have A&B at report creation time, then A&B&C&D on a re-crawl, C&D must now be updated within the report again. Is there any way to have this derived, like in Telerik or SSRS, from another column in the datasource or an added column? There's little flexibility here currently.
