I likewise was looking for a way to make color palettes company-wide - perhaps as part of a "content pack."

This is so important for brand compliance and would allow us to utilize dashboards more broadly at our organization.

Agree, Recent colors always restores back to default after restarting the program

In my company using company colors is very important and now the users need to go to each element and set the right hex code for the colors which is not the user experience that we need. Please make this happen

Or at least the ability to set the default color palette in the page or report properties.

I'm looking for sets of pre-built color palettes that can be applied to a visualization. These palettes should suit certain moods and intents and be created by color experts who understand color theory.

In, for example, Word or Excel you can adjust your colors with the option 'more colors'. You can't do this in Power BI Desktop. This means you cant adjust your Power BI report to the same style as your other documents to make it a whole.
