I fully agree. There should be similar functionality to good old Excel - format all columns to their automatic width (based on contents not just the headings!), format all to a fixed width. They should ideally be able to adjust depending on the live data rather than just the data (and column widths) when creating the report - if this live functionality isn't available, we should be able to set all the columns to our desired width. It's a pain not having this and having to go through each column individually - especially with large tables where "freeze panes" isn't available and we need to scroll up and down repeatedly.
