Excel has conditional formatting based on the value of the cell you want to format, as well as a different cell in another column (for the same row), and the value the formatting is conditional on doesn't have to be a number! Not everyone wants to deal with numbers. Having said all this, I was using Sisense in a previous role and was waiting for the same feature for 2 years, so I'm not surprised, but share the frustration.
