Autoformat Text Color &/Or Background Transparency

It would be a wonderful quality of life improvement to have the text color and or background transparency auto-format depending on the object color behind the text. For example, you have a line and clustered column chart with data labels on the line. The columns are dark blue and the background of the chart is white. Where the labels are over a column in the chart, the text color should change to white, or the background should become less transparent automatically. Where the labels are not over a column, the text should be black and the background should be 100% transparent. With the background of data labels only visible when necessary (or even better the text color changing to suit the object overlap background) our visuals will be much more appealing.
