Currently if I need to alter a dataset it requires deleting it and recreating it completely. It would be nice to be able to alter datasets as needed (e.g. adding or removing tables, columns, etc.).

- The REST API supports adding a new column to a table in an existing dataset, but does not support adding a new table to the dataset. This is a huge limitation - particularly since there is no way of changing the dataset associated with dashboards/reports.
- I agree, this is a big limitation. Please enable the option of adding tables to an existing dataset through the API.
- Please add this important feature for altering datasets.
