- LHRegular VisitorThis would be extremely useful. Financial reports specifically tend to have table visuals with lots of columns but some users might only be interested in a few of them. It would great if each user could decide which columns to see when they load the report

We currently do not have the ability to conditionally show or hide fields. What we normally do in other BI tools is create an island table which we then add to a slicer. By slicing this parameter table we conditionally hide or show fields in a visual. You have recently realised the same thing with field parameters. But in the end this technique is based on calculations in the matrix or table by DAX code. It would be better to always run the DAX code for all fields, but just show or not show them based on conditions.
