allow editting column width

Sometimes it is hard to show all the text, even if you make a slicer/chart/... wider, the text is still now fully shown. Allow us to manually adjust column size pls.

Hi Will, i guess it's about the column width within the "table visual". Right now it's a big problems if you have columns with long names (e.g. 50 chars). This is sometimes necessary, because there is no "friendly name" function and we have to be technically precise. Also adding line-breaks would be helpful.
  • I'd like to do both. Espcially in bar charts the labels sometimes cut so that you can't know which is which. Making label wider would also mean making the whole chart a lot wider (and even that does not always help).
  • It would be great, if at least the width of the columns in a table can be changed or set - currently the automatical size of the reports dependig on the screen resolution cut off the parts of table one might be interested in (of course you can scroll, but it would be better to have it on the first sight)
  • I need to change width in tables and matrix views. Not to mention font and color formating which there is none right now.

This is nice but the right most column is not editable for size since all columns are Right Justified. Trying to adjust right most column only resizes the whole table.
  • It would be nice to view the column headers appropriately. I see things like "Power BI Suc....".
  • Please allow the function to change the "Width" in the columns. Some of the columns contatin alot of data but you don't need to neccessarily read all the contained within. (Ref only). Thank you, G
  • Column width gets resized after refresh data changes. It should be fixed when we switch off auto-column width.
