Often I have a git commit that I want to sync into a fabric workspace, today I never know if the browser tab has actually picked up the latest commit or if it is going to throw an error on conflicts- this is especially true when there are many changes, it would just be nice to know which commit ID I'm about to merge/resolve prior to clicking the button so I know if I need to click refresh first.

thanks T-Rez for your suggestion. sound it can be informative information to add. btw, if you close the source control pane, and open it again, a git sync operation should run and show you that you have incoming updates. which is different from the last sync of workspace commit id, which being shown in the bottom-left.
