add Data Gateway to existing cluster using PowerShell Cmdlets

We have an automated deployment of VMs + On-premises Data Gateways via Terraform. I'm guessing this is a pretty typical deployment strategy, but without the ability to connect / restore / takeover existing Gateway Clusters we are stuck with manual steps in Power Platform Admin Center and Power Automate to support redeploy.

I've automated the Gateway deployment, data source creation and data source user permissions on a single Gateway just to find adding a 2nd Gateway for resilience to the existing Cluster programmatically is unsupported. Hoping this idea will be implemented in the near future

Deployment / implementation almost align same as others. Its unfortunate there is no update / progress on this request. Does any one from MSFT view these comments ?

I am a big believer of "infrastructure as code" and having this little feature prevent for move to automated everything as code doesn't make sense to me as MSFT has all those great tools such as Azure DevOps, etc. Please have this feature high prioirty and give us to be able to add/remove DG when necessary. Thank you!
