Remove Live Connection from Power BI reports
We are not able to edit or remove a live connection from a Power BI report. We also cannot use an imported dataset once a live connection is established.
We have a solution that overcomes these issues in just a few steps. You may find this trick helpful when you want to:
1. Update the live connection from tabular to cube or vice versa, or
2. Remove the live connection from a report and use an imported dataset instead.
