Update Notifications in Desktop for Report Server

The Desktop application notifies users when an update is available.  Is Desktop for Report Server supposed to display notifications to users when the a new version of Report Server is released?   I...

Yes.  We recently installed the March 2018 version of Report Server in a test environment. I had downloaded Desktop for Report Server before the test environment was available so that I could see if there were differences between Desktop for cloud and Desktop for Report Server in the application interface.
