Streaming Datasets Question

Are Streaming Datasets supported in Power BI Report Server?

 

Also, does R Visual in Power BI Service also support Streaming Datasets?

I want the Dashboards to show updated data automatically, even if the user is not refreshing the dataset manually.

 

Please help!

    Are Streaming Datasets supported in Power BI Report Server?

    No. Streaming Dataset is not supported yet by Power BI Report Server.

     

    Does R Visual in Power BI Service also support Streaming Datasets?

    As far as I know, R visual doesn't support real-time dataset.

     

    I want the Dashboards to show updated data automatically, even if the user is not refreshing the dataset manually.

    Whenever you refresh data in a dataset, whether by using Refresh Now or by setting up a refresh schedule, any visualizations in your reports or dashboards based on the data are updated automatically. In Power BI Service, you can set scheduled refresh for dataset.

      Could you please please share any link or article or information on what are ALL the ways if I want to create a real time Power Bi dashbaord.

      Also, what if I want to refresh the dashboard every 15 minutes,, that could be fine too for my business user. I am currently using the Power Bi Report Server for now.
