Report Build Error

Hello,

I have 3 tables in SSRS Report Builder

1. Resolved

2. Unresolved

3. Recap.

I am using 1 and 3 to build one table each but table 2 to build 2 different Tables.

I have 3 tables working but the summary tab which is the last table I want to calculate the expression

= Count(IIf(Fields!Selected_Sol_err_ind.Value = "Yes", 1, Nothing), "Unresolved") but I get the error "Value for Datasetname is missing".

The expression is to count column Selected_Sol_err_ind where it is equal to "Yes"

Any idea on how I can resolve this error?

Thank You

    Hi, mjsystemss

You are referencing the "Unresolved" dataset (scope parameter) in your expression, but it is possible that the Tablix is not bound to the dataset, or the dataset names do not match
    L
ocate the Tablix10 control (possibly your Summary table) in the Report Builder design interface.
Right-click on an empty area of Tablix and select Tablix Properties. In the General tab of the Properties window, check that the correct dataset (for example, Unresolved) is selected for Dataset name. If it's blank here, select the appropriate dataset. If the dataset names are different, they must be consistent
