Power BI Report Server Licensing

Is there going to by am express edition just like SSRS server?

Yeah.... you are right. Is that how much is going to cost for a software company or for a customer? Or for each?

Markzolotoy I know you can set things up to be external facing with normal SSRS, but I don't know if PBI RS holds to the same principles as I haven't tested it yet. If it can be exposed, then it would just be the licensing of the host company. Which is SQL EE + SA or PBI Premium.

    No, it has to be run on-premises.

      Markzolotoy So the full on premises solution requires SQL Enterprise with Software Assurance. You'd have to reach out to your local MSFT rep for pricing on that.

        Thanks. Honeslty, dont see how that is going to work. It's just too expensive.
