power bi desktop may 2022 will not launch

Hi,

I was having issues with January 2022 version of Power BI Desktop customized for RS. When I tried to launch i would see error "Cannot invoke on webview2 web browser in its current state"

After several reading online, I decided to upgrade to the latest version May 2022. Now when I try to open Power BI Desktop, It does not launch at all.

Has anyone experienced this? Any help would be appreciated

Regards,

    Hi baraea ,

    try below steps:

    1. Press Win + R and type: services.msc
    2. Check if you have BitLocker Enablement Tool Service and Bit Locker Drive Encryptation Service running.
    3. If you have both, you should ask to the IT team that disable the BitLocker Enablement Tool.

And you could test to uninstall your desktop again, but this time please delete content in the following path: C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop
Then, reinstall this application with "Run as administrator"
