PB Report Server and licensing
Some of my clients can't go Cloud. They need to run everything on prem. The problem is that they don't want to deal with any additional licensing stuff. Is there a license that a company cant buy and distribute it with its product?

Markzolotoy Well, you buy the license and then you pay SA every year. I think SA is like 1/3rd of the price of the license.

Markzolotoy Not entirely sure I understand the question. Power BI Report Server is licensed via Power BI Premium and via Enterprise SQL with Software Assurance. So, yes, you could purchase Enterprise SQL with SA and license the Power BI Report Server using that license and how much you mark up your product service is up to you.
Greg_Deckler I can get Enterprise SQL with SA, lincense PB server and distribute that license to different customers?
Markzolotoy Well, all of this is predicated on what the terms and conditions of the license say and I don't think anyone outside of Microsoft really knows because holy cow their licensing and license terms are stupid complicated. However, I think you would have to purchase Enterprise SQL with SA for each customer. You couldn't just buy a single license and use that to license 12 of your customers. I guarantee that would be a no no.
Greg_Deckler I see. I am also trying to find how much does an Enterprise SQL Server with SA cost. Buying a license is a one time deal. It will be no need to renew the license, correct?
