Installation PowerBI

Most of the time you do NOT install Power BI. It is a service provided by Microsoft. The exceptions are Power BI Report Server (which is the on-premise equivalent for companies that cannot put their data into the Azure cloud) and Power BI Gateways which act as connection broker between on-premise data sources and the Azure cloud.
If you plan to install Power BI Report Server do not use a shared machine. You will get best results from a dedicated, very powerful machine. Try to place that machine as close to your data sources as possible.
